Professor David Bellamy has presented Foster and Partners and Mitie Cleaning and Support Services with a Green Hero Award at a ceremony at Kensington Roof Gardens. With 70% of Foster and Partners' waste being recycled, the award is testament to how the company is leading the way in environmental best practice.
The Green Hero shield is a new annual award presented exclusively to organisations that have demonstrated a commitment to improving the environment and to helping others to follow their environmental lead.
This prestigious international award was made by environmental group The Green Organisation, an independent international environment group dedicated to recognising, rewarding and promoting environmental best practice around the world.
National organiser of The Green Organisation Roger Wolens said: Foster and Partners are one of our first Green Heroes and fully deserve this recognition.
