Foster + Partners Industrial Design at Salone del Mobile.Milano 2025

At this year’s Salone del Mobile, Foster + Partners Industrial Design launched Ori, a sculptural birdfeeder designed in collaboration with Danese Milano. Ori is set to be a distinctive addition to any outdoor space. The studio also extended several existing collections including an indoor version of the Vea lighting collection with Artemide; and new additions to the BAY System with Poltrona Frau.

Ori, Danese Milano

Unlike traditional bird feeders, Ori introduces a bold, graphic presence that can either contrast or blend beautifully with natural surroundings, redefining outdoor accessories as sculptural statements. It is designed to be suspended from a tree branch, as a floor standing feeder, or as a standing water bath, that seamlessly blends form and function.

Ori was crafted through an iterative design process focused on aesthetics, functionality and purity. Composed of spun aluminium cones, stainless steel elements and threaded aluminium tubes, its vertical axis locks all components together ensuring stability and ease of maintenance. Responding to seasonal changes and bird species, the swapable feeding tube and cages allow for a variety of food types, including seeds, nuts and suet.

Vea, Artemide

The Vea indoor lamp features warmer colours, extending the versatile form of the outdoor fixture launched last year. The indoor range includes a 2.5 metre floor standing lamp and pendants for dining tables and kitchen islands. The Vea outdoor range now also includes two bollard versions in different heights, which gently illuminate pathways and landscaping.

BAY System, Poltrona Frau

Expanding the BAY System collection, BAY Accessories introduces a series of tables and poufs that enhance flexibility in a variety of environments, from airport lounges to co-working spaces. Designed to complement BAY Lounge, these pieces also stand alone, offering versatile seating and surface solutions for both corporate and residential settings.
