Foster + Partners will be opening the doors to its London studio as part of the Open House Festival, London, an annual celebration of the capital’s architecture.
The weekend will feature a series of interactive exhibitions and workshops for all ages as part of the practice’s annual Riverside Festival to coincide with Open House Festival.
Exhibitions – The exhibition will showcase our recently completed projects from across the globe.
Workshops – something for everyone, no matter your age or interest. The workshops will include a live drawing class, design your own neighbourhood, designing spaces in VR, robotics and face painting!
Hosted across several buildings on the Foster + Partners London campus, the festival invites the public to explore the spaces, take part in interactive workshops and gain an insight into the wide range of disciplines and skills that the practice uses to design projects across the globe.

Accessibility and Inclusion
Being equitable and inclusive is a priority for Foster + Partners. To ensure the Riverside Festival encourages visitation from all sections of the London community and beyond, we work to make the experience accessible and inclusive.
Resources for the event include a baby change facility in our Hub space; a multi-faith space for members of the public wishing to pray or seek quiet for contemplation; a well-being space for meditation and calm; a Mother’s Room for expressing milk or breastfeeding; and a small number of parking spaces for visitors with access needs. We also have a pre-bookable wheelchair.
British Sign Language Deaf-led tour
For the first time Foster + Partners has commissioned a British Sign Language deaf-led tour for visitors of all ages interested in architecture, design and the built environment. John Wilson, an experienced deaf-led tour guide across many national museums, will be leading the tour.
