Emma Clifford studied Architecture and Environmental Engineering at the University of Nottingham. Since then she has specialised in the fields of sustainable design, masterplanning and environmental analysis. In 2007 Emma joined PHA Consult, a sustainable design and environmental engineering practice. Here she worked alongside Foster + Partners to deliver a range of concept masterplans and sustainable building designs. PHA Consult was acquired by Foster + Partners in 2011 and Emma is now a member of the in-house engineering team. She provides leadership to a range of international projects of all scales in realising sustainable design and operation.
