Khaled's research interests combine architecture and computer science. He holds a master's degree in Adaptive Architecture and Computation from UCL. Khaled is part of the Applied R+D (Research and Development) team at Foster + Partners, as well as tutoring at the Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL. In his recent work, Khaled has bridged the gap between architectural practice and research by leveraging state-of-the-art technological innovations to tackle complex design challenges. Khaled has expertise in optimisation, fabrication, robotics, virtual reality, and data visualisation. Notably, he has contributed to state-of-the-art architectural projects, such as Alif - The Mobility Pavilion, Expo 2020 Dubai, the Lusail Stadium in Qatar, and the UAE Pavilion at Milan Expo 2015. Khaled has also collaborated with Boston Dynamics on the application of robotics in construction.
