Zheng grew up in China and enjoys football and music outside of work. He joined the practice in 2004 after obtaining master's degree at the University of Nottingham. He initially worked on a number of high profile projects and subsequently became an expert on projects based in China, where he’s able to use his international vision with local knowledge. Zheng has been responsible for the design and delivery of large-scale infrastructure and mixed use including, Beijing Capital International Airport and Citic Bank Headquarters in Hangzhou. He relocated to Beijing in 2011 and is currently in charge of Foster + Partners' Beijing Office.
